How it all began - our story

When two monkey minds get together – anything can happen!

But it seems when they are apart it can happen too – just over 7 years ago now MJ who lives in the USA and I in the UK had one of our general chats on Facebook about our day – but this chat was a WOW

While writing up a meditation I had created for the twins called Rainbow Breath, I had a vision of children going through a door in a tree to find seven rainbow doors and having adventures linked to further meditations. I had started to draw this up and it lay on my desk as I chatted to MJ…… only for her to tell me she had had a vision and was working on a set of stories about children that went through a door in a tree to find further rainbow doors! Errrr what!!!! We shared the notes and drawings and low and behold, it was the same!!!

So two monkey minds an ocean apart seeing the same thing – it just had to be – so we joined our monkey minds together and went on an amazing on-and-off journey researching, writing and drawing and I cannot tell you how much we have written - last count up it was over 30,000 words…. Writing a short children’s book is not that simple trust us - the amount of research we have done on emotions, trees, continents, ecological issues and monkeys is astounding…. BUT we are now being brave and introducing the world to the journey of….. Rainbow Breath the series

NB friends for over 12 years and we still have not been face to face!

So what is ‘Rainbow Breath’ all about - well it's as simple as..

“Mindfully changing the world with one breath at a time”

Yet as complicated as…

“saving our children's mental health and helping the planet simultaneously!”
